Desiree Angelo is a restorative justice enthusiast and a New York transplant by way of the San Francisco Bay Area in California. In 2012, Desiree graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Sociology as an undergraduate. She is currently in her final year of the Masters in Social Work program at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work.
Danielle Emery is the Director of Programs at NYU’s Center on Violence and Recovery. As a student of public policy at NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Danielle is interested in how policy responses can be used to address inadequacies of the criminal justice system.
